The Village of Slinger Board of Review met on May 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at 300 Slinger Road and elected President Scott Stortz as chair and appointed Tammy Tennies as clerk before accepting the preliminary 2026 assessment roll.
Tammy Tennies, clerk, moved to elect President Scott Stortz as chair; Trustee Bergum seconded the motion, which the board approved. Trustee Bergum moved to appoint Tennies as clerk of the Board of Review, and President Stortz seconded; that motion also passed.
Clerk Tammy Tennies told the board she "had completed Board of Review training as required under WI Stat 70.46(4) and the training affidavit was electronically filed with the Department of Revenue." Assessor Eric Feavel submitted his signed Assessor’s Affidavit, which Tennies accepted for inclusion in the Board record. Tennies provided the preliminary assessment roll and reported that staff had reviewed the roll and had answered outstanding questions; the board conducted a review of the roll.
Chair Scott Stortz asked the board to note for the record that no requests for waivers of the 48‑hour notice of intent to file objections had been received prior to or during the first two hours of the hearing. No previously unfiled objection forms were presented. At 4:00 p.m., after the two-hour public hearing window had closed, Trustee Bergum moved and Clerk Tennies seconded a motion to adjourn the Board of Review sine die; the board approved the motion.
The meeting record indicates the Board completed its statutory checks and accepted the assessment roll and affidavits with no objections or waiver requests reported. No further action was recorded at this session.
