Supervisor Dan Casler told attendees at a public hearing Nov. 12 that the Town of Little Falls' proposed 2025 budget will not exceed the tax cap and is set at the 2% tax increase allowed.
The hearing convened at 7:05 p.m. at town hall and the board recorded five members present: Supervisor Dan Casler and Councilmen Anthony Viscomi, Kirk Schwasnick, Kevin Sullivan and Mitch Soules. Also present were Town Clerk Sandra Regan, Highway Superintendent Don Cotton, Town Attorney Nick Macri and Heather Devitt, deputy director of the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District.
Casler said he made a few small adjustments to the proposal that the board had previously approved and emphasized the budget remains within the statutory cap. He then asked if there were any comments for or against the budget; no members of the public spoke.
With no public comment, Casler closed the hearing at 7:08 p.m. The hearing notice ran in the Times Telegram on Oct. 24, 2024. The transcript record was filed by Town Clerk Sandra Regan.
