Little Falls board accepts resignations and approves bills in unanimous votes

The Little Falls Town Board unanimously approved minutes, accepted two resignations and authorized payment of general and highway bills at its Dec. 10 regular meeting.

The board adopted Resolution #96 approving the previous month’s minutes on a motion by Councilman Kevin Sullivan, seconded by Councilman Anthony Viscomi; the motion carried with all members voting aye (Supervisor Casler; Councilmen Viscomi, Schwasnick, Sullivan and Soules).

The board accepted the resignation of Elaine Cobb from the Planning Board, Board of Appeals and Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee, effective Dec. 10, 2024. Supervisor Daniel Casler presented Cobb’s resignation and the board adopted Resolution #97 by roll call vote with all members voting aye. Casler said the resignation was accepted “with regret.”

Supervisor Casler also presented a resignation/separation letter from Court Clerk Teresa Soules, effective Dec. 30, 2024. The board adopted Resolution #98 accepting Soules’s resignation by unanimous roll call vote. Casler said Soules indicated she would be willing to be re-appointed at the start of the new year.

After a recess to audit bills, the board adopted Resolution #99 authorizing payment of General Bills #132–144 totaling $13,270.00 (motion by Councilman Anthony Viscomi; second by Councilman Kirk Schwasnick), and adopted Resolution #100 authorizing payment of Highway Bills #146–156 totaling $35,652.65 (motion by Councilman Mitch Soules; second by Councilman Kevin Sullivan). Both measures passed on unanimous votes.

The board set its next regular meeting for Jan. 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at town hall and adjourned at 7:53 p.m.
