Little Falls reports $89,265.87 CHIPS receipt; approves general and highway bill payments

Supervisor Dan Casler reported to the Town Board on Sept. 10 that the town received $89,265.87 in CHIPS (Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program) funds and that he had submitted his tentative 2025 budget as his monthly financial report.
Casler said minor changes were needed to the town’s annual financial report so some CHIPS expenditures would be re‑categorized. The board recessed at 8:45 p.m. to audit bills and reconvened at 8:48 p.m.
On motion of Councilman Mitch Soules, seconded by Councilman Anthony Viscomi, the board approved General Bills #106‑115 in the amount of $1,321.23. On motion of Councilman Anthony Viscomi, seconded by Councilman Mitch Soules, the board approved Highway Bills #117‑126 in the amount of $43,913.65. Both motions passed with votes recorded as Supervisor Casler Aye, Councilmen Viscomi and Soules Aye.
The board set its next regular meeting for Oct. 15, 2024, to follow scheduled public hearings.
