Little Falls reappoints planning board member; supervisor reports tax receipt, traffic study and solar pilot work

The Town Board of Little Falls approved two administrative items and heard brief updates from the supervisor at a special meeting July 30, 2024.
The Board unanimously approved Resolution #60 to re-appoint Marianne Graziadei to the planning board for a seven-year term retroactive to July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2031. The motion was offered by Councilman Mitch Soules and seconded by Councilman Kirk Schwasnick; the roll call vote was five ayes, zero nays.
Supervisor Dan Casler reported that the town received approximately $55,000 in second-quarter tax receipts. He said the town will ask ARC Herkimer to re-do a traffic study to include Route 5; the prior study pertained to Eatonville and did not include that corridor. Casler also said he had reached out to Mr. Crosley to arrange a meeting to work toward a tax agreement and that the Newville Solar Project Company's lawyer will prepare a pilot agreement contract.
There were no other public hearings or contested items on the special meeting agenda. The Board adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
