The West Columbia City Council introduced Carol Williamson as the city's new planning and zoning director. Miss Kiser presented Williamson's background, highlighting planning experience in the Midlands and the state, service in the U.S. Marine Corps, and certifications as a floodplain manager and as an arborist.
