Commissioners approve Neosho Falls Senior Center A/C replacement and several tourism and voucher payments

Commissioner Kevin Stuber moved to allow the Chamber to pay $4,000 toward the 2027 Toronto fireworks; Commissioner Jerry Sedlacek seconded and the motion passed. Stuber also moved to approve a tourism request for the Yates Center Days Alumni Dinner in the amount of $500 to be paid from the Tourism Fund; Justin Clark seconded and the motion passed.
The board also approved signing vouchers totaling $92,648.84 (motion by Justin Clark; second by Kevin Stuber). The meeting record shows the motions passed but does not provide roll-call vote-by-name totals.
Sheriff Jacob Morrison reported receiving a fourth new sheriff's vehicle; one truck sustained damage to its plastic transmission pan and will be repaired and fitted with metal skid plates to reduce future damage. Several executive sessions on personnel matters were also held during the meeting.
