Hobart board unanimously approves rezoning of parcel HB-554

President Richard Heidel opened a public hearing on the request at 6:08 p.m. Todd Gerbers, the Village Director of Planning & Code Compliance, reviewed the petition, saying the existing 0.821-acre parcel in the 1000 block of Centennial Centre Blvd. is being subdivided and pieces attached to three neighboring parcels; the rezoning is intended to prevent split zoning on the resulting lots. No members of the public spoke during the hearing, which closed at 6:11 p.m.
The board approved the ordinance on a motion by Trustee Melissa Tanke and a second from Trustee David Dillenburg; the voice vote was 4-0. The ordinance was presented as "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF HOBART, BROWN COUNTY, WISCONSIN." The minutes list the ordinance number as 2026-01.
