The Village of Hilbert Board carried a set of routine but formal actions on Nov. 12: approval of the previous board meeting minutes and the Fire Department minutes with corrections; acceptance of the Village and Fire Department treasurer’s reports and the First Responder report; and authorization to pay all presented claims. Trustee Ken Stenklyft initiated many of these motions; most were seconded by Collins or Nolan and were recorded as carried.
The board approved a one‑year rental extension for Schneider Farms to continue renting undeveloped acres for 2025 at $300 per acre, contingent on clerk review of deed language. Trustees renewed a real‑estate listing contract for the three remaining lots in Village Meadows with agent Keith Krepline for one year.
Under procedural business the board convened into closed session under Wis. Stat. s.19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public properties or other specified public business (motion by Stenklyft; second by Loose). Roll call votes to enter and to reconvene were recorded as yes from Trustees Roehrig, Loose, Collins, Pulley, Nolan and Stenklyft; no action followed the closed session. The meeting was adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
