Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen presented the clerk's report and related administrative items. Chairman Mike Helman moved to approve Clerk-Treasurer training, a motion seconded by Supervisor Andy Christensen and recorded carried 4-0. The board also reviewed the unemployment quarterly statement and confirmed it will keep the state flag as is in the hall.
The board approved the Oct. 1, 2024 meeting minutes and the list of claims and disbursements after motions from Supervisor Ryan Nelson; both motions carried 4-0. The board set 2025 fire fees at $60 per parcel in Monticello and $95 per parcel in Maple Lake following a motion by Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen, seconded by Christensen; that motion carried 4-0.
Other administrative notes recorded: computer installation for the clerk's office was completed with one supervisor laptop still pending, and the clerk noted staff may perform some work from home after obtaining chairman approval.
