Hustisford board approves land-use permit and rezoning; library reports missing funds

The board also approved a rezoning request for Paul and Michelle Riegleman, moving their parcel from A-2 (agriculture) to R-1 (single-family residential); that motion was made by Dahnert and seconded by Hildebrandt.

The board approved the January 8, 2026 meeting minutes and accepted the treasurer's report, which showed $6,949.99 in the General Fund and $987,446.87 in the NOW account. Supervisor Alvin Hildebrandt moved to accept the treasurer's report; Supervisor Phillip Dahnert seconded and the motion carried.
During the reports section, the library reported that a review of its bank statement shows funds remain missing; the transcript records that the village, town and library will meet to discuss the discrepancy. The report did not identify a named speaker for the library update, and the board did not take an immediate formal action on the matter.
Recreation staff said they are exploring starting a girls' summer sand beach volleyball league. The fire department provided no report.
