The Town of Hustisford Board recorded a $2,000 budget for the Rock River Working Group for 2026 and noted that the project will sunset at the end of 2026.
Supervisor Phillip Dahnert moved to approve the list of election officials for the 2026–2027 election period. The approved slate includes Deb Whalen, Candy Graulich, Deb Ninmann, Judy Ashby, Debbie Key, Barb Margelofsky, Judy Nehls and Amy Osmus.
The board acknowledged a November request from Everlight Solar for a direct sellers permit but took no action. Members said they will obtain a second estimate for purchasing a new chainsaw and heard an estimate review from Ross Roeseler for new Town Hall flooring; no purchases were authorized at this meeting.
Library and recreation reports noted that ‘Jamie’ is managing library activity and that recreation organizers are planning men's basketball teams, a Bags league starting in January, and youth basketball for grades 3–4 in winter. Santa is scheduled at the Community Hall on Dec. 6, 2025. The Fire Department had no report.
Why it matters: these administrative items set short-term priorities for maintenance, elections staffing and community programming; none required immediate appropriations beyond the approved items already recorded.
