Hustisford board approves 2026 budget, accepts treasurer's report and payroll

Supervisor Alvin Hildebrandt moved to approve the town's 2026 budget and the minutes from the Nov. 24, 2025 budget hearing; Supervisor Phillip Dahnert seconded the motion, which carried. The board later approved adjustments to the 2025 budget after Treasurer Allen Hackbarth reviewed the amendments.
The board accepted the Treasurer's Report, moved by Supervisor Alvin Hildebrandt and seconded by Supervisor Phillip Dahnert, noting $2,755.72 in the general fund and $65,718.33 in the NOW account. The board also voted to approve payment of bills and payroll totaling $21,192.80 on a motion from Hildebrandt and a second from Dahnert.
The board voted to retain its regular monthly meeting start time of 7:30 p.m. and to move the scheduled Jan. 1, 2026 meeting to Jan. 8, 2026.
