Blair Township conditionally approves Dollar General land development; final subdivision signed pending plans

Larson Design Group representative Chris Sheaffer told supervisors the Dollar General plan at 16474 Dunnings Highway has addressed engineering concerns related to water runoff and FAA-clearance comments; outstanding items include the Highway Occupancy permit, NPDES permit, and Conservation District review. Engineer Eric Banks (Stiffler McGraw) recommended conditional approval based on the outstanding items.
Supervisor Brad Germaux moved to conditionally approve the land-development plan pending satisfactory completion of all engineer comments; Supervisor Lou Lusk seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Later in the meeting Eric Banks reported that all items in the Stiffler McGraw review letter had been addressed and the board voted to approve the Dollar General final subdivision, with the township awaiting signed plans.
The approvals put the project on track to proceed after required county and state permits are completed and signed plans are returned to the township.
