Commissioners ratify consent agenda items; masonry contracts pulled for review

The Morgan County Board of County Commissioners approved a multi‑item consent agenda on May 20, ratifying meeting minutes, several contracts, an intergovernmental agreement, public trustee reports, and liquor‑license actions. Commissioners removed two masonry contract items involving Scott William Brindisi dba Duck Down Masonry & Tile from the consent agenda for separate review.
The Board approved items 1–8 and 11–14 by a 2‑0 vote after Commissioner Kelvin S. Bernhardt moved to remove items 9 and 10 for General Business. Later in the meeting, the commissioners discussed those masonry contracts; Building Supervisor Mike Cox said warranty changes will be reviewed and updated in a future consent agenda item.
Included actions on the consent agenda (not exhaustive): minutes ratification (May 6, 2025); contract amendments and new contracts with Command Service Systems, SRI, Industrial Communications West, Long Building Technologies, Great Plains Glass Company, Convergint Technologies, and others; an intergovernmental agreement with Wiggins Rural Fire Protection District; temporary liquor license and liquor‑transfer application for Justbre, LLC dba Moonlight Cocktail Bar; and assignment of debt collections to Wakefield & Associates.
