The Greenlee County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a multi-part consent agenda during its Oct. 7 regular meeting.
Items approved included minutes from the Sept. 16, 2025 meeting and expense warrants in excess of $1,000 (Vouchers 9009, 9010, 9011). The board approved an annual county contribution of $35,000 to the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension for fiscal year 2025–2026. The Chief Financial Officer presented General Fund loans totaling $8,581.65 to be reimbursed upon receipt of funds, including Fund 159 ($150.19), Fund 223 ($1,956.29) and Fund 310 ($6,475.17).
The board approved acceptance of an estimate/proposal from Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative in the amount of $63,659.24 to rehabilitate primary electrical infrastructure around the new public works building and to install a pad-mounted transformer to feed the building. Personnel items on the consent agenda included employee transaction forms for Justice of the Peace 2 and a part-time dispatcher (C. Crandell), and approval of an indigent representation contract for attorney S. Kautenburger for 2025–2026. The board also approved procurement for two police-package vehicles and one canine PPV SUV with upfitting from Young Commercial & Fleet Center.
Supervisor Ron Campbell moved to approve the consent agenda; Supervisor William Wearne seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
