Morgan County approves two amended plats in Blue Sky Preserve and Jackson Lake RV Park
Summary
On April 8, 2025 the Board approved Resolution 2025 BCC 17 (Siebrands Blue Sky Preserve PD amended plat) and Resolution 2025 BCC 18 (J & N Lehnerz amended plat), finding reconfigurations meet subdivision and zoning requirements and renaming the parcels Lot 38A and Lot 24A, respectively.
Morgan County commissioners unanimously approved two amended plats April 8, finding both reconfigurations consistent with county subdivision and zoning regulations.
Nicole Hay, Morgan County Planning and Zoning Administrator, presented Resolution 2025 BCC 17, describing an amended plat reconfiguring Lot 38 and Tract A in Blue Sky Preserve PD (38 Preserve Drive) into Lot 38A. Hay told the Board that the March 4 review concluded no additional lots would be created and the reconfiguration meets required lot size and setback rules. Commissioner Kelvin S. Bernhardt moved to approve Resolution 2025 BCC 17; Commissioner Timothy A. Malone seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
Hay also presented Resolution 2025 BCC 18, an amended plat to vacate lot lines between Lots 23, 24 and 25 in Jackson Lake Recreational Vehicle Park Subdivision to create Lot 24A. Hay said the vacation meets subdivision regulations and will not adversely affect access, drainage or utility easements. Commissioner Timothy A. Malone moved to approve Resolution 2025 BCC 18; Commissioner Kelvin S. Bernhardt seconded and the motion carried 3-0.
Both resolutions include findings that the reconfigurations comply with Morgan County Subdivision Regulations and the County’s Comprehensive Plan.
