The Parks and Recreation Director presented quarter 3 program attendance and cost recovery figures for July through September 2025.
"For 2025, with the youth, we had 183 participants. Total cost recovery, 115.3%," the Director said, noting an increase from 151 youth participants in the same quarter last year. The Director reported adult participation at about 116 (compared with 115 last year) and said senior programming had 13 participants versus eight the prior year, enabling two trips this quarter.
Year-to-date participation for quarters 1–3 rose from 757 last year to 865 this year, a 14% increase, the Director said. Staff will send surveys to adult participants to understand dips in some activities (for example, coed softball) and explore schedule or program changes to boost retention.
Commissioners thanked staff and noted the department's fitness instructors have helped grow adult programming.
