Counsel reported the attorney for JCP&L submitted a letter withdrawing application Z25-04 for a tower replacement/expansion; the board accepted the withdrawal via resolution to clean the docket and close the file. Counsel said the withdrawal stemmed from a funding loss related to solar-farm developments, and the board made no findings on the merits of the application.
Separately, the board set a continuance for a Diamond Towers cell-application to July 22, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. after the applicant requested a carry "without further notice." The chair noted the hearing could be refiled if the applicant returns with a revised application. The board did not take further substantive action on radio-frequency issues or cell-carrier access at the meeting.
