Atlantic Community School District elects officers, sets regular meeting schedule and vendors

Administratively, the board designated the Atlantic News-Telegraph as the district's official newspaper of record and voted to name Ehlers and Cooney as primary legal counsel for school business.
Board members said the schedule and vendor selections were routine organizational items intended to support efficient district operations. The secretary will maintain the official records and publication notices in the designated newspaper.
The board concluded the administrative block of business after approving a resolution authorizing the board secretary to issue routine payments when the board is not in session.
