Two Harbors council approves consent agenda including infrastructure invoices, HVAC and equipment purchases

Notable items approved included payments to Bolton & Menk for wastewater-treatment-plant professional services ($40,753.90) and chlorine-tank and building repairs ($21,015.65), a payment to Ulland Brothers for street-improvement project request No. 20 ($16,111.46), and approval of Braun Intertec invoice for the water treatment facility improvement ($3,492.50). The council also approved amendment No. 2 to a WSB contract for material testing for the wastewater treatment plant (additional $3,500; total contract $26,195) and other associated contract payments noted in the minutes.
Procurement approvals included entering a five-year lease program for in-car cameras with Lenslock and a $19,770.89 quote for patrol-squad equipment from Emergency Automotive Technologies, Inc. The council approved an HVAC replacement proposal for City Hall from A.W. Kuettel & Sons for $82,977 and a cost-sharing authorization to cover material price increases for the WWTP improvement project ($89,391.08 for each participating party). The consent agenda also authorized staff to prepare LRIP and SPRA grant applications with Bolton & Menk assistance at an estimated total of $15,000.
