Police chief reports sewer-plant trespassing, animal complaints, new computer and winter parking enforcement

He also listed a peace complaint involving a domestic situation where a restraining order was discussed as an option, an animal complaint about geese on Mill Street, and a noise complaint at an apartment building.
Chief Small reported ongoing trespassing and theft at the wastewater treatment plant; he said the department posted a notice on Facebook asking residents not to dump materials or take resources and warned stronger enforcement could follow if the problem continued.
On equipment, Chief Small reported buying a new police computer for $1,092.01 and that he had been selling old equipment on eBay with an expected recovery of about $550, reducing the effective net cost. He also said the new computer will be added to the state's January update for software installation.
Finally, Chief Small said the department is entering the village's winter parking enforcement period and will issue citations for vehicles not moved within 48 hours.
