He requested support to expand the list of qualifying offenses in the local ordinance to match the state statute and to raise the per-offense penalty from $250 to $500.
Trustees did not take an immediate vote on the ordinance amendment; discussion on costs and alignment took place and staff will return with draft ordinance language where appropriate.
