Council conducted both first and second readings, moved to approve bill number 9169 and called the roll; staff said the ordinance is necessary for the project to proceed and failure to adopt it would pause the airport work. No public comments were offered before the vote. The council approved the measure and staff will return with any implementing contract paperwork as the project proceeds.
