Morgan County awards nine-month fuel contract to G4 Energy for $14,140

Public Works Director Bruce Bass presented the bid tabulation for RFP 2024-1212-001, a nine-month fuel contract. He said the county received four bids: Senergy Petroleum ($21,495), G4 Energy ($14,140), Rhinehart Oil ($23,191.80) and CHS, Inc. ($97,555.50). Bass recommended awarding the contract to G4 Energy as the lowest bidder.
Commissioner Gordon H. Westhoff asked whether G4 Energy could meet the countys needs; Bass said the company assured them it can. Commissioner Westhoff moved to accept the bid recommendation; Commissioner Jon J. Becker seconded and the board voted 3-0 to award the contract to G4 Energy for $14,140.
