Waterford board approves minutes, committee appointment, Resolution 1045 and bars Globe Life business with employees

At its June 8 meeting, the Village of Waterford board approved several routine and administrative actions.
Trustee Tamara Pollnow moved and Trustee Kelli Dunham seconded approval of the May 26 special Village Board minutes; the board voted all ayes. Trustee Troy McReynolds moved and Trustee Pat Goldammer seconded appointing Trustee John Todryk to the Finance Committee; the board approved the appointment unanimously.
The board adopted Resolution 1045-060826, the Compliance Maintenance Annual Report, on a motion by Trustee Troy McReynolds and second by Trustee Bob Nash; all ayes. The board also passed a motion (moved by McReynolds, second by Todryk) to prohibit Globe Life from conducting business with Village employees for life insurance and other products, citing employees’ access to life insurance through Corestream; the motion carried unanimously.
President Adam Jaskie announced that two agenda items requiring public hearing notice service, including a resolution to discontinue and vacate a portion of Center Street south of Waterford Union High School, would be rescheduled to the July 13 meeting because parties still needed to be served.
