Back in the county’s regular session, the board approved a lengthy consent agenda that included: an amendment with the Oregon State Marine Board for two patrol boats (amendment $250,000; total $1,007,056 over two years); a Department of Justice grant application for assault investigation training (anticipated $500,000 over three years); a USDA work and financial plan for wildlife management (agreement value $124,791 for one year, funded partly by county general fund $91,500); a $68,300 Cascadia Health subrecipient grant for residential treatment services; a $10,000,000 Oregon Health Authority grant application for community‑based housing; a $5,150,740, five‑year personal services contract with MTR Western to operate a last‑mile shuttle; and a pharmacy services agreement with Kroger/Fred Meyer (approx. $200,000 over five years). The clerk noted funding sources for many items were federal or state grants and several items did not use county general funds.
Commissioner Savas moved to approve the consent agenda; Commissioner Helm seconded. The clerk called the poll and announced the motion passed 4–0.
