The Village of Bonduel Plan Commission on June 2 approved routine procedural items, recommended a business signage application to the Board and reminded members to review the Village's ethical standards ordinance.
The commission approved the meeting agenda on a motion by Steve Peterson, seconded by Troy Wescott, and approved the April 28, 2025 minutes on a motion by Robbie Woldt III, seconded by Steve Peterson; both motions carried unanimously.
During public acknowledgement, attendees included Jesse Rankin (Director of Municipal Operations), Nikki and Jeff Bougie (The Glenn), Nate Johnson (Manik Motorz Service & Repair) and developers for Bear Trail Crossing. On a motion by Mark Welch, seconded by Steve Peterson, the commission recommended approval of three replacement signs for Manik Motorz, noting the proposed sizes appeared to meet ordinance requirements and offering stylistic suggestions for readability. Commissioner Bob Shest also raised concerns about the property's appearance.
Chairman Russ Gehm reminded members that Bonduel Municipal Code Sec. 2-83 (Ethical Standards and Regulations) is reviewed annually and asked the commission to review the ordinance.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:02 p.m. on a motion by Andrew Court, seconded by Bob Shest; the motion carried unanimously.
