The Board of Selectmen recorded the following formal actions during its March 23, 2026 meeting. All motions recorded in the minutes passed by unanimous vote of the six members present unless noted otherwise.
- Proclamation and lighting: Motion by Diana Yeisley, seconded by Curtis Looney, to light Eno Memorial Hall blue for April (Autism Awareness Month). Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Consent agenda additions: Motion by First Selectman Wendy Mackstutis, seconded by Diana Yeisley, to add authorization for tax refund overpayments and authorization for the Town Manager to execute a Master Town Agreement with New England Smart Energy Group, LLC to the consent agenda. Outcome: approved unanimously.
- Executive session addition: Motion by Diana Yeisley, seconded by Kevin Beal, to add an executive session pursuant to CT General Statutes 200(6)(A) (personnel matter). Outcome: approved; board entered executive session at 7:33 p.m. and left at 8:09 p.m.
- Approval of minutes: Motions to approve minutes for Feb. 28 (as amended), March 2, and March 9 were made and approved unanimously. A later motion by Deputy First Selectman Steven Antonio to reconsider the March 2 minutes with an edit clarifying his vote on Main Street funding was seconded by Curtis Looney and passed.
- Adjournment: Motion by Curtis Looney, seconded by Diana Yeisley, to adjourn at 8:10 p.m. Outcome: approved unanimously.
