The commissioners also approved buying five Stalker DSR 2X radar units for $16,000 to be paid from the Sheriff’s Equipment & Technology Reserve (to be reimbursed by federal grant funds), acknowledged the sufficiency of bonds as requested by the District Attorney, approved an update to the county personnel policy to include Paid Family Medical Leave, approved the Agreement Between Hancock County and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office Association and the Fraternal Order of Police for 2026–2028, and adopted the proposed 2027 Budget Calendar. Each action carried a 3‑0 vote (moved Clark, second DiBella).
