The Kenosha County Board approved three personnel appointments and recorded several communications and referrals.
Resolutions from the Human Services Committee were approved by voice vote: Resolution 25 appoints Luke Pollock to the Brookside Board of Trustees; Resolution 26 appoints John O'Day to the Commission on Aging and Disability Services; and Resolution 27 appoints Veronica King to the same commission. Each resolution had passed unanimously at committee and the board approved them without further discussion.
Clerk communications included a Finance & Administration committee item authorizing and providing for the issuance of not‑to‑exceed $22,750,000 general obligation promissory notes and/or bonds; that item was referred to the Finance and Administration Committee for further consideration. Several property‑damage claims were referred to corporation counsel; a resolution to purchase property on Burlington Road was referred to Public Works, Facilities, and Finance Administration. The board also approved the minutes of the June 16 meeting.
No votes failed at the board level in these routine items recorded during the meeting.
