Green Township to consider ordinance barring data centers after committee discussion

During the discussion the mayor opened the floor for public comment. Resident Scott Bozzone told the Committee about research he had collected on data centers and their effects on municipalities. The Committee closed the public comment period and agreed to consider introducing the ordinance at its next meeting. If introduced, the ordinance will be referred to the Land Use Board for a consistency review within 35 days.
