The Conservation Commission on March 11 heard an update on enforcement EO-2025-01 concerning an alleged stream alteration at 633–759 Somers Road and directed follow-up action.
Planning & Conservation Coordinator Alex Grigorov told commissioners that a final notice sent Oct. 24, 2025 asked the property representatives to hire a consultant by Dec. 10, 2025; the most recent outreach recorded was Dec. 8, 2025, when Provencher said they were considering hiring Berkshire Design. Grigorov said the town had since requested further compliance.
The Commission agreed to request that representatives identified as Haberern and Provencher attend the Conservation Commission meeting on March 25, 2026 and to require that a consultant be hired; commissioners indicated fines will be imposed if the consultant is not retained.
No vote tally beyond consensus direction was recorded in the meeting minutes. The Commission asked staff to notify the responsible parties and to report back at the March 25 meeting.
