In new business, members discussed a recently announced DECD grant program for remediation. The commission noted the application deadline is March 25 and that winners will be announced in the summer; informational webinars will be available. Staff reported that DEEP has pre-drafted material that may help shape the application, but commission members said they intend to seek clarification from DECD on outstanding points before proceeding.
