Akron School Board appoints treasurer pro tem, holds executive session on security protocols

Code §121.22(G)(6) to discuss security arrangements and emergency response protocols; the motion was seconded and adopted by a 6-0 roll call at 7:28 p.m. The board reported no action upon return from executive session and subsequently voted 6-0 to adjourn at 8:21 p.m.
The treasurer pro tem appointment and the record of the executive session were entered into the minutes; the board noted that further follow-up items and documentation from administration and legal counsel would be published with the meeting record.
