At its Feb. 9 meeting in the Easton Public Library community room, the Easton Board of Police Commissioners approved the department's FY '26/'27 budgets and the Jan. 20, 2026 meeting minutes by unanimous vote.
Chairman Richard Colangelo moved to approve the Jan. 20 minutes; Vice Chair David Smith seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Later, Colangelo moved to approve the FY '26/'27 budgets; Commissioner Victor Alfandre seconded and that motion also passed unanimously. The minutes do not record dollar amounts or line-item details for the approved budgets.
At 5:58 p.m. Colangelo moved that the board enter executive session to discuss personnel matters; Commissioner Alfandre seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board reconvened from executive session at 6:25 p.m. and the minutes state that no motions were made and no votes were taken while in executive session. Chairman Colangelo moved to adjourn at 6:30 p.m.; Vice Chair Smith seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
