East Haven housing authority sets 2026 meeting dates; forwards Fair Rent Commission nominees to Town Council

The board set quarterly meetings for 2026 on the second Monday of January (Jan. 12), April (April 13), July (July 13) and October (Oct. 12). Director Rich Coppola told members that Town Hall will be closed on Jan. 12, 2027, creating a holiday conflict; he said a special meeting date will be determined to accommodate that schedule.
Under old business Coppola reported that the names of five resident electors who would serve on the Fair Rent Commission will be sent to the Town Council for consideration at its February meeting. The minutes do not list the nominees by name.
There were no members of the public in attendance and no public comment recorded. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn by Commissioner Anthony Moscato, seconded by Maribel Aguilar; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
