The Bridgton Select Board on July 9 awarded a crack‑sealing contract to Coastal Road Repair after reviewing two bids. Staff recommended Coastal because its submission was more thorough and the prices fit the town’s capital plan.
A board member moved to award the contract and another seconded; the motion carried by voice vote. Board members noted the town budgeted $50,000 in capital for pavement work and asked staff to publish the final list of roads included in the contract because the vendor estimate and the town list did not perfectly align.
The town manager said completing the work while paving crew availability and weather allow would help extend pavement life; staff will confirm scheduling and notification to residents once the contractor and list are finalized.
