Price County NAC recommends three new members for 2026–28 terms

The Price County Nutrition Advisory Council on Jan. 29 recommended three people to fill advisory council seats for terms running April 30, 2026, through April 30, 2028.
The council moved to accept Cathy Ferrell of Phillips, Robin Nielson of Brantwood and David Schmidt of Park Falls and carried the motion. The motion was recorded as Ferrell/Hoffman; the minutes state only that the motion 'carried' and no roll-call tally was included.
The recommendations will be forwarded to the Price County Health and Human Services Board for final appointment. The council made the recommendation during the meeting called to order by Chairperson Debbra Werner and recorded in the official minutes.
The council also approved the previous meeting minutes from Oct. 30, 2025, by motion earlier in the session. The next council meeting is scheduled for April 23, 2026, at the Brantwood Community Center.
