Mr. Duncan said the estimated construction cost is approximately $3.5 million, inclusive of contingency and inflation adjustments. He also said bid alternates are being developed to reduce costs if needed, and a project timeline was presented to the council.
No formal action or funding appropriation was taken at the meeting; the presentation provided council with updated cost forecasting and next steps for procurement and budgeting.
