The council opened a public hearing on the renewal of a special-entertainment permit and a request for a temporary extension of premises for on-premises liquor service by Volume Services, Inc., doing business as Sodexo Live, at Funtown Splashtown USA. The clerk confirmed required fees and notifications had been completed, and several city departments reported no concerns.
Applicant representative Corey Cormier attended and said he came to answer questions but had no concerns; he indicated the applicant would return the following year for renewal. Councilor Parks moved to close the public hearing and grant the renewal and temporary extension for events on July 11, Aug. 1 and Aug. 22, 2026; the motion was seconded, and a roll-call vote approved the order 6–0.
The permit will run concurrently with the existing on-premises establishment liquor license, which expires Aug. 30, 2026. The council recorded no objections from city departments during the hearing.
