The clerk's bills presented to the council include substantial payments tied to the water treatment project: Bolton & Menk, Inc. invoiced $25,486.50 for water treatment facility work; John T Jones Construction was listed for $211,479.94; and an Iowa Finance Authority water debt payment of $50,418.73 appears on the disbursement list. The clerk reported a total of $367,626.77 in payments across funds that were approved as part of the consent agenda.
The council did not take final action on the water project at the meeting; the July 5 public hearing will allow the council and the public to review the funded activities and project status.
