City Administrator Terry Foster presented the new website’s features and recommended adding the CivicPlus Mass Notification Communicator Unlimited & Emergency Voice product to integrate emergency and community alerts with the site. Alderman Cody Quist moved to approve the contract at a first‑year cost of $4,606.25 and an ongoing annual cost after Year 1 of $3,740.00 with a 5% annual increase; Alderman Steve Aston seconded the motion. The clerk recorded four ayes on the roll call and the board approved the purchase.
Board members said the service will improve the city’s ability to communicate with residents about emergencies and routine announcements, and the purchase was presented as part of broader website enhancements approved by the board. Staff will implement the service and integrate it with the new website.
