He said about $213,600 is available for construction costs through federal reimbursement and that Cochran has worked on other city path projects and provided a competitive, technically capable proposal.
A council member confirmed the Cochran fee is included in the project budget (the total project cost estimate in materials and construction was discussed at council previously). The committee approved the agreement and instructed staff to proceed with final procurement steps and prepare the project for bidding.
