The plan also includes updating the Waverly Welcome Home website to improve accessibility and meet ADA requirements; staff said the ADA work must be completed by April 2028 and that some ADA-related changes (contrast, site structure) were discussed and budgeted.
Tolan described the initiative as an iterative program the city has adjusted since 2018, citing prior research, stakeholder engagement and an analytics-driven approach. She said the $50,000 was budgeted in January and will be paid from hotel‑motel tax revenues. Council members approved Resolution 26-144 by roll call vote.
