The Oxford Township Committee voted unanimously on March 4 to designate Gassius, LLC as the redeveloper for Block 25, Lot 57 and to authorize execution of a redevelopment agreement consistent with the township's Redevelopment Plan (Ordinance 2026-02).
Resolution 2026-40 cites the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq.) as the enabling authority and states the company demonstrated the ability and resources to carry out the proposed redevelopment. The resolution directs the Mayor and Clerk to execute the redevelopment agreement in the form attached to the resolution.
Georgette Miller moved to approve Resolution 2026-40; Linda Koufodontes seconded the motion, and the committee approved it by unanimous roll call vote. The designation is a procedural step that enables the township to execute a sale and redevelopment agreement and to move forward with implementation under the redeveloper contract.
The resolution requires clerical filings with the Division of Local Government Services after adoption as set out in the ordinance text.
