A single bid for a poured‑in‑place concrete wall, which staff recommended because of longer service life, came from the same bidder at $89,548.
"For that, we received 3 bids, and the lowest response for bidder, for that was US Site Solutions at 65,528 and 30¢," the public works presenter said. He added that the poured‑concrete option would likely last “20, 30 years” and reduce future repair frequency.
The board had previously voted to release $52,500 from the facility maintenance fund; selecting the poured‑in‑place option would require an additional $37,040 (approximately) to reach the $89,548 price. The board voted to schedule a public hearing on July 21, 2026, at 208 Sanford Road in the Littlefield Meeting Room to consider that supplemental appropriation; the motion carried unanimously.
