A committee liaison noted the contract needed a quick turnaround for signature to avoid schedule delays.
A board member moved to accept the AIA contract with Ricci Construction LLC (the company that constructed the town’s existing fire station); the motion passed and the board then moved to designate a select board designee to sign the contract because signatures may be required before the next select board meeting. The motion designating Adam Ryan as the signer carried.
Board members said they would continue to receive the contract back through staff for final signature and to ensure any ministerial comments are handled prior to execution. No additional conditions or amendments were recorded in the meeting minutes.
The board asked staff to circulate the final AIA contract to members and to arrange for signature in the short term so construction planning can proceed.
