The Hardyston Township Board of Education approved a series of routine agenda items during its Nov. 11 meeting and then moved into executive session.
The board moved to adopt the meeting minutes and approved finance items F1–F4, facilities item FO1, curriculum and program items CP1–CP2, and personnel items P1–P7. Roll-call voting was used for these motions. For the motion to adopt the minutes one abstention was recorded (Ron Hoffman); other routine motions were approved by the present members by roll call.
During personnel approvals board members thanked retirees, including Lenz and Casa, for years of service. The superintendent and board recorded no policy items for the month and noted receipt of resignation and retirement letters.
The board then voted to go into an executive session for legal purposes for 20 minutes; the chair said there would be no further action after the session.
