Staff reported 11 single‑family permits in the recent period, eight single‑family homes in the legal report (about $4.2M) and approximately $10M in commercial permit value, including a fuel station, several greenhouses, a mini‑warehouse and a church addition. The commission accepted the report as presented.
On meeting technology, staff described Municode's online agenda and voting portal and asked whether commissioners would use personal devices or whether the village should supply tablets. One commissioner raised an open‑records concern, noting that use of personal devices could subject those devices to public‑records requests. Several commissioners said they preferred printed packets for now while new members become familiar with procedures; staff said they will pilot the system and revisit the idea in roughly six months.
A motion to approve the CSM passed on voice vote. The meeting adjourned; the commission tentatively scheduled the next meeting for June 17 at 6 p.m.
